Hello Friends & Family!!

It’s that special time of year😊 I sincerely hope you and your loved ones are doing well and had a fantastic 2023!!! I know I did – both personally and professionally, 2023 was a good year!

And that is why it puts a smile on my face to reach out to you today as we plan for the 70th Annual CP Telethon!!! 70 YEARS – can you believe it??? Telethon Weekend will be held the traditional first weekend in March, on March 2nd & 3rd. However, there is a twist this year - we have a new LIVE ONLINE streaming event that will be held on Saturday, March 2nd between 2:00 - 4:00 pm. During the live stream you will have the opportunity to see CP in a whole new way and interact in real time with our clients and staff using your computer or mobile device. We are super excited about this new platform and engaging in new ways with our community – I really hope you can join us!!!

The traditional telethon that you have all come to know and love for 70 years will be airing live on Sunday, March 3rd between 8:00 am - 6:00 pm on Channel 2, WBAY. This will be my 19th year volunteering to be on the CP Staff VIP panel!!! Telethon has changed over the past few years, but the mission has not changed. A mission that continues to be critical as we continue to provide services for so many in our community.

Many of you have supported me in the past and I just want to say, “Thank You”. I continue to be humbled by your continued support. Every day I see the difference it makes in a person’s life. At CP, our mission statement is “Celebrating all Abilities and Unlocking Potential”. Day in and day out I am honored and privileged to be part of an organization that brings this mission to life – for our clients, our employees and our community.

As part of being on the CP Staff VIP panel, I am fundraising to help support the telethon. I am asking for your support in meeting my goal of raising $5000 which will have a significant impact on CP's ability to provide quality, caring services to Northeast Wisconsin children and adults with a variety of conditions. I will be grateful for any contribution you can make to help us help others. Fun Fact: although I don’t have official records tracking my fundraising efforts over all of the years, based on what I do have – you could help me reach $60,000 in fundraising for CP!!!! That is unbelievable and truly heartwarming – thank you!!!!

It’s fast, easy and secure. We are trying to streamline our process so online donations are the preferred method, but if you prefer, just let me know how much you would like to pledge and your current address. I can complete the pledge form and you will be contacted after the telethon for your actual donation.
