In 2022 my son, Ford, started occupational and speech therapy at CP. It was love at first appointment. The building, the employees, the people, everything about CP is beautiful. It's a place filled with joy, happiness, celebration, acceptance, and true passion. Ford is Autistic and his body requires a lot of sensory input. His occupational therapist helps him tremendously. She understands Ford in a way that I envy and is incredible at what she does. The way she believes in Ford, respects his needs, and genuinely cares about him is inspiring. Ford is non speaking and learning to use AAC to communicate. With the help of speech therapy we can find him the proper device and program to give him a way to communicate. Ford lights up when we turn into the CP parking lot. He is eager to get in the door and into the sensory gym. It is truly his happy place.

Your support will directly help children and adults with disabilities meet their goals for independence and go way beyond what they thought possible.
