Hi, my name is Lilly Vandertie and I am a fifth grader at Southern Door School in Brussels, WI.  For 50 years, the fifth grade class at my school has fundraised for the CP Telethon through our musical along with letter writing, candy sales, and more!  My dad actually did this when he was in 5th Grade too! This year, things look a little different. But we are still determined to support CP and reach our fundraising goals! 

CP is a nonprofit organization that works to celebrate all abilities and help their clients reach their goals all while being an active part of the Northeastern Wisconsin community. CP has four departments: Therapy Services, Adult Day Services, Childcare, and the Aquatic Center. All four of those departments work together to provide a safe place for all. You walk in the door at CP and instantly feel welcomed. CP is a second home and a family for so many and it is my hope that my fundraising efforts this year can help them continue to change lives. 

This year our musical is "Pirates" and I am playing the part of "Bluebeard".  I will be talking, singing and dancing.  We will perform this at our auditorium on March 3rd and 4th.   I like my part, because I basically run the ship with another pirate!  I have a very lofty fundraising goal because my brother raised $6,325.00 three years ago when he raised money for his 5th grade.  So I must raise more than he did!!
